![]() My shorty is running a vsi system and I'm paying about $10/100km, but I drive pretty sedately to achieve that. If you are a big fuel user (around $100 of petrol per week) it could be worth it. ![]() And these savings need to be offset against the purchase cost, and the additional servicing expense (about $180 every 20,000km for the Prins). If you aren't a lead foot, then lpg is cheaper, but only by about 30-33%. Putting on gas tends to undo some of that good work. The other consideration is that the manufacturer of your vehicle spent significant time tuning the ECU to run the vehicle on U91, to get as much power and efficiency that the engine type would allow. LPG has a lower energy density than U91 petrol, so you will use more gas L/L than petrol, no matter what technology you install. there's no special air injection for engines, so why inject the lpg? I'm figuring as long as the ring mixes the gas well with the air, all is good and your inlet manifold will distribute it to the cylinders as needed. Not sure if there is a great improvement in fuel consumption with injected gas over gas ring.
